  • Heidi Oxley has been writing celebrity lifestyle stories for over two decades, starting as a Staff Reporter at the UCLA Daily Bruin, where she interviewed stars such as Charlton Heston and film directors like Zalman King. Next came a staff position at Movieline magazine, where she wrote about new movies, interviewed actresses such as Renee Zellweger and Halle Berry, and covered the restaurants stars frequented. A senior editor position at Seventeen magazine followed, in which she oversaw all entertainment coverage, which led to working at Life & Style magazine.
  • After decades of living in Los Angeles, Oxley has learned about Hollywood, fashion, health, wellness, yoga, pilates, and — yes — even Botox. She has become an expert on the new trends the A-list members crave. That includes home trends such as building a perfect Zen garden, the latest swimming pool trends, and how stars are outdoing each other's panic rooms.
  • When not writing, the California native loves to flip homes. She began with a co-op on the Upper East Side in New York City, in which she painted the walls, laid the kitchen flooring, and worked with her super to replace the kitchen and bathroom. And then, she did the same with three homes in California. In the past few years, she has learned about drought landscaping and is helping her neighbors convert their front yards to use less water.

Heidi Oxley has been writing lifestyle stories for the past two decades, starting with her school paper, the Daily Bruin, and working her way up to celebrity lifestyle magazines such as Movieline, Seventeen, and Life & Style. She has covered Oscar fashion trends, box office gems that have aged well, mansions of the rich and famous, and hot spots stars go to. Oxley has also become an expert in interviewing celebrities, conducting Q&As with Heidi Klum, Marie Osmond, Brooke Burke, and Jane Seymour in recent years.

Reading books by Jane Austen and Anne Rice was one of Oxley's favorite hobbies as a child so becoming an English major at UCLA was a good fit. She received her BA in English with another major in Norwegian because she wanted to learn more about her mother's home country. A decade later, Parker returned to UCLA to take extension classes in fiction writing for novels and children's book writing.
