The Kitchen Item HGTV's Nicole Curtis Uses To Clean Bathroom Tile
One of the grimiest things HGTV’s Nicole Curtis often has to scrub when restoring an old home is the bathroom floor or shower tiles, for which she uses an old pot scrubber.
This tool gets into nooks and crannies, and can be purchased at Target for under $5. Its soft bristles effectively wash the tiles without damaging the typically
delicate material.
If you already have a pot scrubber in your kitchen but it's looking a bit worn, using it to scrub bathroom tiles is a sustainable way to recycle this tool.
According to Curtis, most ‘worn’ tiles are actually dirty, which is why she recommends scrubbing over removing them. This will also save you money in the long run.
